Chlorella vulgaris - summer 2017

We will be the first Icelandic company to offer locally grown Chlorella vulgaris isolated from Icelandic nature. Chlorella is one of the most nutrient-dense superfoods in the world and has many researched benefits. Chlorella can be taken as a dietary supplement or added to foods such as pasta´s, guacamole, porridges and bread. Chlorella is a great additive to fresh juices and smoothies. 

Spirulina - 2018

Spirulina is incredibly high in protein and a good source of antioxidants, B-vitamins and other nutrients. When harvested correctly from our closed photobioreactor system and fresh water, it is one of the most potent nutrient sources available. Our Spirulina is of couse isolated from the Mývatn area.

Other species and opportunities

Our goal is to be the leading producer of freshwater algae in Iceland. Furthermore to be the leading company in production development for consumer products made out of algae. One of our strengths as a company is our close relation to MýSköpun biotechnology company that already have more interesting algae strains under it´s microscope.
